Petrus de Vinea

Digital TEI-XML edition curated by Dr Martina Pavoni for the PNRR Innovation Ecosystem “Tech4You – Technologies for Climate Change Adaptation and Quality of Life Improvement,” Goal G.4.1 « Preservation and enhancement of cultural heritage (tangible and intangible sources) and local identities in Calabria and Basilicata », projected and initially directed by Prof. Fulvio Delle Donne.

The present digital edition is based on the edition of the documents contained in Petrus de Vinea (Pier della Vigna), Epistolario , ed. A. Boccia, E. D’Angelo, T. De Angelis, F. Delle Donne, R. Gamberini, Ariano Irpino–Soveria Mannelli, 2014. It represents the outcome of an experiment on the possibility of combining the  TEI-XML  markup language with Linked Open Data (LOD) for the construction of open-access semantic databases.

The project has been developed on the basis of the  Aracne  framework, created by Dr Alfredo Cosco. The implementation of LOD, primarily linked to Wikidata, has benefited from the technical contribution of Dr  Alessandro De Troia .

The edition is carried out in coordination with the ALIM (Archivio della Latinità Italiana del Medioevo) project.
