The project Women’s Voices in Medieval Artes Dictandi and Model Letter Collections, curated by Dr. Francesca Battista and funded by the “Lise Meitner Programme” at the University of Vienna, brings together letters and epistolary models of an amorous nature preserved in medieval epistolary collections or in treatises on ars dictaminis.
The project was completed with the collaboration of the:
- PRIN 2022 HISTORIALE MARE - Historiographical Insight: Sources, Theory, Oratory and Rhetorical Instruction, Authorship, Literary Evolution - Middle Age and Renaissance Evidence, projected and formerly directed by Prof. Fulvio Delle Donne (Università di Napoli Federico II);
- PRIN-PNRR 2022 IMPERI SITUS - Imperial and Monarchical Power - Evolution of Regal Ideology in Southern Italy: Theories, Uses, Strategies (XII-XV Century), projected and formerly directed by Prof. Fulvio Delle Donne;
- PNRR Innovation Echosystem «Tech4You - Technologies for climate change adaptation and quality of life improvement», Goal G.4.1 «Preservation and enhancement of cultural heritage (tangible and intangible sources) and local identities in Calabria and Basilicata», projected and formerly directed by Prof. Fulvio Delle Donne.
The project was developed using the Aracne framework created by Dr. Alfredo Cosco.
The edition is coordinated with the project ALIM (Archivio della Latinità Italiana del Medioevo).
